Sage Construction is based in New Lenox, Illinois, with a showroom in nearby Mokena, Il. We come equipped with an excellent team of skilled employees, along with a select crew of trusted subcontractors we’ve worked with for years. We don’t advertise all that much, yet through simple word-of-mouth our reputation enables us to stay super busy pretty much year round.

As a legitimate remodeling company we pull permits for 99% of the jobs we do, preferring to work with clients whose needs require the services of multiple trades to complete their projects from start to finish. That means we mostly work on residential home remodels.

We’ll do anything from a simple hall bathroom, to multilevel remodels, to full-scale add-on home additions. We may not be the cheapest, but we’ve earned our reputation as one of the best full-service remodelers in the area. Most importantly, we truly care about the quality of our work and the long term satisfaction of our clients.

Company History

Originally an electrician by trade, I worked in residential housing for years and learned the trade of home building through my daily job and tradesmen relationships. Through helping numerous friends, family members, and acquaintances with their own remodeling requests throughout the years, our services eventually grew into a full-scale construction business. Home building has now become my full-time job, since I’ve discovered that remodeling provides me with a sense of gratification that’s hard to express. Building and restoration are artistic and extremely technical tasks, and I’ve found I truly enjoy combining the varied elements required to bring complex construction projects to completion. I feel blessed and am happy to say that I love what I do.

Company Philosophy

We Do Good Work, And We’re Proud To Say We Leave Our Customers Satisfied.

Sustainability is Our Goal

As a devoted, longtime tree hugger, I am extremely concerned with the environment. Greener remodeling is our ultimate goal. Whenever possible we sell and install sustainably built cabinets, Loba oil refinished hardwood floors, durable natural wood flooring and sustainable Coretec cork flooring. We don’t litter, we don’t drink water from plastic bottles, we don’t overconsume, and we try not to do anything else to kill or destroy nature. One day I’d like to subdivide with the same values to produce housing developments with tap on power services secondary to solar, wind, or geothermal, creating smaller homes built for necessity rather than wasteful mansions, while ensuring that everything we build is integrated with practical storage solutions, and with all luxury amenities downsized to prevent overconsumption.
